Logan Capital Management named to SMArtX “X” Award list for 2023
The “X” Awards recognize leading strategies within the model marketplace on the SMArtX platform

Newtown Square, PA — April 28, 2023— Logan Capital Management, Inc. (Logan Capital), a registered investment adviser with a series of equity and fixed-income strategies, has been named to the third annual SMArtX “X” Award list for 2023. Logan’s Large Cap Growth strategy was recognized as the winner in the Large Cap Equity category for 2023.

“We are incredibly honored to be recognized in the 2023 SMArtX “X” Awards in the Large Cap Equity category,” said Stephen Lee, a Founding Principal of Logan Capital. “This achievement is a testament to our team’s commitment to delivering excellent investment solutions and our dedication to delivering superior results for our clients.”

Logan Capital’s Large Cap Growth strategy, managed by Al Besse, Stephen Lee, and Dana Stewardson, seeks companies that benefit from an economic tailwind, deliver increased earnings tied to pricing power, and have a technical profile that confirms strong business fundamentals. The strategy has a fairly concentrated investment style at 40-60 U.S. stocks, each with at least a $5B market capitalization at time of purchase.

The SMArtX “X” Award winners were selected across nine categories from among 1,111 eligible strategies, based on annual data collected for the period ending December 31, 2022. The nine awards categories were grouped by market cap, geographic focus, and investment type. The winning strategies were selected based on a four-step methodology looking at the ability to generate alpha over a peer group benchmark, a positively skewed risk and return profile distribution, downside and tail-risk management, and consistency of returns.
